Cherylline began knitting around 5 years ago, following a visit to Nigeria,  Africa.  The market traders the colours, the smells, the life that oozed from the streets inspired her to begin creating, and at that time, yarn is what she choose as her medium.

Cherylline is completely self taught choosing to create patterns which are entirely her own, rather than re-creating patterns which are commercialised.  The journey of creating her own patterns has brought her closer to the understanding of wool/yarn and it’s amazing abilities to create beautiful garments from a ton of knots.  Cherylline came up with the pattern for her hats around 2 years ago, and to-date they have been extremely popular. Many of her customers return for a replacement (as hats are so easily misplaced) or for a new colour to add to their collection.

iLE AiYE designs are based on enabling a women to dress uniquely on an every day basis, but without being over the top, as her designs are generally categorised as accessories, the objective is to add originality to a women’s outfit.

All products are hand knitted using UK yarn.
