The beads used in the design for this necklace are a combination of bright summer flower and vivid swirling psychedelic cog beads with sterling silver nest details. The beads are bright. Vibrant and fun embracing this summers trend for happy colours. These lovely beads are stung onto sterling silver wire giving the necklace form and structure. Mel had added some lovely crystal beads the compliment the flowers and cog beads.

Materials used Handmade lampwork Cogs made by Laura Sparling, handmade lamp work flower made by Anna Richards, crystals, sterling silver wire wraps, sterling silver wire chocker, silver toggle clasp.

Kookie Designs
Mel started making beaded jewellery 8 years ago, after her lovely Husband bought her some beads and stringing material one Christmas, she has totally hooked ever since.
Kookie Designs was born 3 years ago after the birth of their son. Initially Mel sold her jewellery at craft fairs but after several clients asking for the ability to shop online she decided to join the modern age and has set up an e-shop as well as having pieces here.
Mel loves working with original lampwork beads, which are a work of art in themselves, and combining them with crystals, freshwater pearls, sterling silver and Karen Hill Tribe silver along with semi-precious stones Her Jewellery tends to be an eclectic mix of material Hence the name Kookie Designs, making each piece adaptable and very feminine.
